We have your latest update on developments for the Air New Zealand Koru Lounges in Auckland and Wellington.
Auckland
Auckland Airport is currently expanding its Air New Zealand Koru Lounge, with the new lounge facilities being built over part of the valet parking area. Domestic valet parking is still available and vehicles can access the parking from Laurence Stevens Drive. Currently, the drop-off area is being housed in a temporary facility connected by a covered walkway to the terminal.
Wellington
Wellington Airport's Air New Zealand Koru Lounge is in the next development phase with large-scale refurbishment starting later this month. The lounge will remain in the same location but will offer more space with six different zones including café and bar, business, lounge and quiet areas, along with improved self-service food and beverage stations. There will be a 10% increase in seating, with a majority of the seating having power/USB charging facilities.
The Lounge will be out of operation from 26 March whilst the construction is undertaken. During this time, Koru members will be able to access two interim lounge facilities, one located after gates 14 and 15 on level 0 and one by gate 16 directly after domestic security screening on level 1.
