Air New Zealand Fare Changes
Air New Zealand has advised changes to its short-haul Seats to Suit offering. As a valued Corporate Traveller customer, we wanted to keep you updated on the changes.
What’s changing?
From 11 June 2024, Air New Zealand is simplifying its Seats to Suit products on flights between Australia and New Zealand, and between Australia and the Pacific Islands. Don’t worry, there will still be lots of choice.
Key changes are:
- The seat+bag product will be discontinued. The Seat to Suit network now includes seat, theworks, worksflexi, premiumeconomy, premiumflexi, businesspremier™ and businessflexi fares.
- All travellers will now have access to full inflight entertainment
- There will no longer be the option to purchase food onboard or vouchers at the airport.
- Travellers can still purchase drinks and other items onboard using Visa, Mastercard, Amex card or Airpoints.
- There will be minor changes in the way fares are displayed in your Online Booking Tool (eg SAVI, Concur) for online bookings.
What are the differences between the fares?
- theworks fare is well suited for most corporate trips as this includes free baggage, free seating and a full meal & drinks offering.
- New flexi fares are perfect for travellers needing greater flexibility, as they will be able to make free changes or cancel their ticket to receive a full refund. Any additional fare and tax difference is still applicable when making changes. Prices start from:
|
worksflexi |
premiumflexi |
businessflexi |
NZ ➡️ AU |
+NZD$60 |
+NZD$80 |
+NZD$120 |
- The seat fare is a basic offering, and only includes a snack (no additional food purchases onboard). Baggage can be added offline for NZD$30 each way, plus applicable offline booking fees. Keep these restrictions in mind before booking.
