Passenger identification procedures - Domestic flights in New Zealand

Effective from 27 September 2018, passengers travelling on Jetstar's domestic flights within New Zealand with checked baggage will be required to provide identification. Accepted ID types are:

• Passport
• Driver's license
• Original or certified copy of a birth certificate or citizenship document
• Student ID
• Aviation or airport authority issued ID

It must be an original or a certified copy - photocopies or expired ID will not be accepted.

Jetstar will provide information regarding this new requirement in pre-departure emails to relevant passengers.
