Flight Centre Travel Group New Zealand is participating in Movember this year to raise awareness about some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide. The aim of Movember is to get all men to talk to one another about anything.
We’re proud to have a strong Corporate Traveller team growing their Mo’s this Movember.
Let’s introduce our Corporate Traveller Movember team:
Nick Queale
General Manager Corporate Brands
Why did you decide to participate in Movember this year?
Why am I doing Movember? It’s not to look cool, my daughter won’t come near me and give me a kiss but why I am doing it is because of men’s health. There are a whole lot of things that come under men’s health, whether its men’s mental health, prostate cancer and other issues. I’m just doing it for the bros, that’s why I’m growing a Mo.
Charlie de Tracy Gould
Business Development Manager / Movember Captain
Why did you decide to participate in Movember this year?
The main reason that I wanted to get on board with Movember this year was to talk about men's health. They don’t generally like to talk about their issues or talk about their emotions so this month’s a chance for you to grab your best mate and ask him how he feels. Get on board, it’s a great cause and we hope to raise a lot of money for such a great thing.
Robbie McKenzie
Business Development Manager
Why did you decide to participate in Movember this year?
The reason why I’m doing Movember is to help raise awareness and join the rest of the lads and do something a bit above and beyond what they would normally think of. So what I’m going to do is name my Mo Bohemian Rhapsody and you’ll see why shortly.
William Hattaway
Business Development Manager
Why did you decide to participate in Movember this year?
I’m participating in Movember to get the message of men’s health around. I’m calling my moustache WIP because it’s a work in progress.
Vishal Khanna
Finance Administrator for Corporate Brands
Why did you decide to participate in Movember this year?
I decided to be part of Movember because I wanted to be a symbol for everyone walking around, when they see my Mo I want them to be reminded that there is someone there they can speak to about their mental illnesses, about anything that they are going through because we are not in this alone and it’s a beautiful journey. So please, speak out if there’s anything on your mind and I’m here to help. Mo-on!
